School Starts - Volleyball Ends
Wow - today was the very first day of school.... and OMG ... they hit us full force with school work!!! Couldn't they at least give us one day to breathe???
Our class from last year has been split in two, and new people have joined our fold. On first impression they seem like a really good group and it should be a great year. The Dean of the School of Business came in and chatted with us and gave us the following breakdown of how we will be spending out time in an average week ...
class time 23 hrs
studying 46 hrs
travel 10 hrs
eating, etc 14 hrs
sleeping 49 hrs
R & R 14 hrs
TOTAL 167 hours... which leaves one hour free
Wow.... intense huh?!?! SO... this means I need to spend my R&R time wisely =)
The start of school also marks the finish of our summer volleyball league. Tonight was our last night playing out in the dying light of the setting sun. It was a lovely night... although we definately weren't at the top of our game. Time to put away the volleyball and pick up the basketball.
Basketball starts up this weekend. =) All at the same time I am terrified and I am excited. Terrified because I am fearful that my skills and fitness level aren't up to snuff... but excited because it will be great to continue playing a team sport over the winter.
All in all, it looks like its going to be an interesting fall.
