Add more one thing to the plate...

Well... I may have finally fallen off my rocker...
Or, well... I've just stumbled onto a wonderful opportunity.

Today I recieved a call stating that I was successful in getting a position at school putting me in charge of Corporate Sponsorship for BCIT's upcoming 2006 Open House. This is a part time position that will involve me going out to major corporations, developing relationships with them, and then encouraging them to sign up as one of our sponsors for the event. Its going to be a busy job, and I am sure will pose some challenges, but is quite the opportunity!!

Actually, I think I am still in shock about getting it!

At first I was a little unsure about being able to manage my different priorities, but i had a great chat with my department head who gave me the thumbs up on believing I had it in me. I'll just have to stay focused and make sure not to load anything else on my plate.
