Temporary Amnesia is Cool

So I went in for my scope today.

Yes. I was very nervous. But here's the cool thing. They give you this drug that is related to rhohipnal (the date rape drug). You are conscious and relaxed, AND it renders you with temporary amnesia.... meaning, you don't remember the 'big event.' Well, not totally at least, just hazy bits and pieces.

I can now understand why the date rape drug is so scary in the wrong hands!!!!!!

Anyhow, overall it went well. The UC has gone further up (not so great) but there were no abnormalies. I've got new medication to take... so hopefully that will get me on the mend quickly!!
